Worshipful Walk: A Journey Through God’s Creation

The grueling days of summer are soon to be over, and it’s time for our next Worshipful Walk on Saturday, September 26. Autumn colors will be arriving, and this Worshipful Walk will be a great time to take a hike with friends in nature as we share in the glories of God’s creation!

We will meet at the Coonskin Park Riverside Pavilion at 2:00 p.m. for a three-mile total out-and-back walk beside the river. Because this is an out-and-back walk, you may turn around and return to the start when you think you have gone far enough.

Deacon Gina Griffith will lead this walk and will offer occasional prayers and reflections on our journey. Your reflections and prayers will also be valued, though not required. Please share any questions or concerns with Gina.

Wear good walking shoes and clothing appropriate for the weather, and bring water for yourself. I will have sunscreen and insect repellent to share.
