Invite Welcome Connect: A New Ministry at St. John’s

St. John’s is beginning a new ministry called Invite Welcome Connect. It’s a program affiliated with The Episcopal Church that will help us draw people into our congregation and help current parishioners become more engaged in church life.

The three key elements are “Invite” (bringing people into our church), “Welcome” (helping people feel at ease and comfortable), and “Connect” (pairing newcomers and current members with ministries within the church that will keep them engaged).

Our group is being led by Maggie McCabe (Invite), Diane Hendricks (Welcome), and Rosemary Miller (Connect).

While we currently have 15 members in our group, we’ll be asking for the entire congregation’s help in our efforts to make St. John’s a more welcoming community!
