You Did It, St. John’s!

Spring greetings to my St. John’s family! I pray you are well and rested. I want to thank all of you for your hard work in putting together such a meaningful day for the Rev. Jim Lewis’s daughters, Katherine, Deb, and Beth. All three of Jim’s daughters were overwhelmed with gratitude for all the love, care, and attention you put into making Jim’s Burial Office so joyful and memorable. It most certainly takes a village to take on such a grand undertaking as what we did for Jim and his family. I believe the faithfulness and care you put into April 25 displayed the growth that St. John’s is undergoing. For us to have put together such an extraordinary day of events, we needed a larger core group of folks to pull it off, as well as people getting along with one another and engaging in healthy dialogue. You did it, St. John’s! From the bottom of this rector’s heart, thank you!
