A Community Conversation: Supporting LGBTQ+ Youth

The Straight and Gay Alliance (SAGA) and Social Justice at St. John’s (SJ@SJ) ministries of St. John’s Episcopal Church cordially invites you to the community forum: Building a Better Community on Wednesday, October 28, 2026, at 5:30 PM in Hunter Hall. The forum is dedicated to supporting LGBTQ+ youth—from school age through their early 20s—across the Kanawha Valley.

Our young people face unique challenges, and building a stronger network of safety, inclusion, and resources requires collaboration. This forum will bring together Charleston city government representatives, local advocacy groups, faith leaders, and community members to discuss actionable ways we can uplift and protect our youth.
