Gratefulness
As I reflect on the last nine months, I am so grateful that I could co-chair Congregational Life with Brian Hamra for close to three years. He has so many talents and is great to work with! I really hope that one of you will step up and share the joy of Congregational Life by co-chairing with Brian. It is a very rewarding and big job that should not be done alone.
The new ministry, Invite, Welcome, Connect (IWC), is co-led by Diane Hendricks, Rosemary Miller, and myself! I am very fortunate and grateful to be able to share this leadership with two wonderful women. The IWC team is a wonderful group of 15 folks whom I am also extremely grateful to work with. We hosted the Ministry Fair and coffee hour last Sunday. What a wonderful event! Thank you to all of the IWC team for all of their hard work Saturday and Sunday. A big thank you to our sexton, Elizabeth, for her assistance with everything.
I am always thankful for Frank and the grandkids. But what about everything else? I am retired, have healthcare, a home, a car, live in the beautiful woods, and have many friends and family.
My second home of St. John’s is so wonderful and important to me. My gratefulness for Eric and staff, the building, liturgy, and even more family. I could go on and on.
Have you counted your blessings lately?
