SAGA needs your help!

St. John’s Straight and Gay Alliance (SAGA) is re-energizing itself with an open meeting after church on Sunday, March 10. We hope to see several new faces as we talk about what we should do next.

Currently SAGA is responsible for maintaining the Episcopal and Rainbow flags, which it arranged for and paid for the installation of a decade ago. We also, along with St. John’s Outreach Committee, support both Fairness West Virginia and Rainbow Pride by participating in their events.

But what else could or should we be doing? Should we have guest speakers? Or maybe just serve as a social gathering place once a month?

If you are LGBTQ or a straight ally, we would love for you to come to the Virginia Adams Room (209) after church on March 10 to help us decide what’s next.
