Pine Tree Removal
After a thorough inspection of the exterior church walls in the garden area, it became apparent that the large pine tree is causing significant damage to the building. In addition, the tree’s extensive root system has disrupted the sidewalk, and the exposed roots have created difficult walking conditions and a potential trip-and-fall hazard.
This decision was not made lightly. We deeply love and appreciate this beautiful tree and remain committed to being good stewards of both our church property and the environment. Before making any decision, we consulted with arborists and other tree professionals to carefully evaluate all possible options. Unfortunately, it was determined that removal is necessary to prevent further structural damage and safety concerns.
The Vestry has therefore approved the removal of the tree. The work is scheduled to take place on June 1 and 2.
