Meet Lillian & Jasmine, Our Nursery Staff!

Lillian (left) has cared for children all of her life, being one of nine as she was growing up and having lots of nieces and nephews. She began working as a nanny for others and nursery attendant in her own church when she was in high school. She is the proud mother of two-year-old Alylah Love and a bonus mom to nine-year-old Noah and 13-year-old Derrick.

Jasmine (right) grew up in Charleston and graduated from Herbert Hoover High School in 2024 and worked in youth development at the YMCA.

“We love making learning fun, to encourage them to always be learning new things and to explore their interests and imagination to their full potential!” says Lillian.

The nursery is for babies and preschoolers and is open on Sundays from 9:15 – noon, and occasionally for special events. It is located on the second floor of the parish house accessible by the elevator. Leaving the elevator, it’s straight ahead and the first room on the left. Parents can leave children while they attend Connected Communities at 9:30am as well as the 10:30am Holy Eucharist. Bring any needed supplies or special instructions for your child as well as a contact number.
