The CICADA Center
The CICADA Center is a reproductive freedom resource center created through a partnership between St. John’s Episcopal Church and WV FREE. The Center provides compassionate, evidence-based, and non-judgmental support for people navigating pregnancy decisions and reproductive health needs. Grounded in dignity, transparency, and personal autonomy, the CICADA Center offers accurate information and meaningful resources without coercion or misinformation.
Straight & Gay Alliance (SAGA)
SAGA is an inclusive ministry celebrating the dignity of all people and affirming diverse sexual orientations and gender identities in the spirit of God’s love. Through conversation, fellowship, and advocacy, SAGA helps nurture a community where everyone belongs.
Social Justice @ St. John’s
Social Justice @ St. John’s (SJ@SJ) gathers monthly to share meals, learn from guest speakers, and engage issues of equity and compassion in our community. This ministry inspires reflection, hope, and faithful action toward justice.
Bible Study
Bible Study at St. John’s offers a thoughtful and engaging space to explore Scripture together. Through reflection, discussion, historical context, and personal insight, participants discover new layers of meaning and lessons that resonate in daily life.
