SAGA

SAGASAGA is an inclusive group founded by St. John's Episcopal Church with a mission to advocate the dignity of human sexuality in all of its orientations, genders, and life-enriching relationships in the spirit of God's love. All are welcome to be a part of this organization.

What's different about SAGA than other gay organizations?

  1. This is a mainstream faith-based organization that believes God's love is for everyone regardless of sexual orientation.
  2. We strive to be a clearinghouse of information on organizations and resources for gays, lesbians, and trans-gendered people.
  3. SAGA is a group of people, both gay and straight and all ages, working to provide a framework to learn from each other and educate others in the church and the local community.

Come to St. John's on the second Sunday of each month (except June) from 12:00- 1:30 p.m. for lunch and fellowship. We usually meet in Room 209 on the second floor of the church's educational wing. There isn't a membership fee and meetings are open to visitors as well as regular attendees. You can be placed on the mailing list if you choose, or you can volunteer for any one of the many ongoing activities.
